Ten minutes from the beautiful town of Sitia, in Lassithi prefecture, you can climb the hill towards Roussa Ekklisia and, as you catch sight of the church, you will find a privately built and owned development of tradition stone houses that fits perfectly into the environment.
Sitia is the most eastern town on Crete. With a population of 10,000, the town, which is an amphitheater built on the slope of the hill, is a quiet and picturesque place but is very colorful. It has a great historical and cultural tradition and heritage.
It is well connected to the rest of Crete by the National highway and the main road to the south of the island.
It is also connected by air, from Sitia airport, to Athens, Kassos, Karpathos, Rhodes, Preveza and Alexandroupolis and by Ferry to Santorini, Milis, Piraeus (Athens), Kassos, Karpathos and Rhodes.
